Clearwater, Florida. For the first time on the WFGT, a father son duo has won a team event. Scott & Luke Gutschewski were (-13) after the 27 hole Championship completed, one shot better than Michael Visacki & Brandon Hoelzer.
Dade City, Florida. Carter Dill secured his first West Florida Golf Tour win at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club Monday afternoon after a one hole playoff with Jake Scott. The duo posted rounds of (-5) 67 to earn the playoff berth.
Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Amateur Darren Zhou continued his fine play this season as his (-4) 68 claimed the Ritz Carlton Title over a very talented field Monday afternoon.
Sarasota, Florida. Blake Dyer fired a (-9) 63 on Monday at Laurel Oak Country Club to claim a win in his final prep event before 2nd Stage of Q-School begins next week. In what was our strongest field to date, Hunter Howell also played well shooting (-9) 63, but lost in a playoff.
Cape Coral, Florida. Caleb VanArragon held off Andrew Storm down the stretch at Cape Royal Golf Club to notch another victory on the West Florida Golf Tour. The Fort Myers resident shot a two round total of (-11) 133 to claim the title.
