Doug Letson capped off a magical week at Sun N' Lake with a final round (-5) 67 and a four shot victory over Brad Brunner. The win was the second for Letson during his 2014 summer campaign and moved him securely into second place on the money list with three events left on the summer schedule. Brad Brunner made a late run at Letson with a sensational final round (-7) 65, but ultimately wasn't enough as this week belonged to Letson.
The week also included a competitive course record (-9) 63 by Kelly McHugh. A great accomplishment considering the amount of quality play Sun N' Lake has seen over the years.
The WFGT would like to thank Sun N' Lake Golf Club for hosting the players this week. As always the course was immaculate and the players enjoyed the challenge Deer Run presented. It was also extra special knowing that PGA Tour Latino America Qualifying school will take place there later this year.
