Sarasota, Florida. Heritage Oaks Golf & Country Club will play host to the 1st of six one day summer events on the West Florida Golf Tour. Players will be able to stay sharpe this summer as we head in to Q-School Season.
Sarasota, Florida. Hunter Howell birdied the final hole of the day to break away from the three way tie at (-4). Howell's (-5) 67 was one better than Korn Ferry Tour Member Davis Shore and Sarasota resident Kyle Rodes.
Bradenton, Florida. Lakeland's Adam Alvarez won for the second time on the West Florida Golf Tour Monday at Heritage Harbour. The Florida Southern Alum was one shot better than Clay Amlung.
Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Connor Schmidt (-5) held off Noah Kumar (-4), Ricky Palonis (-4) and Trey Lewis (-3) down the stretch Monday afternoon at Esplanade at Azario and recorded his first WFGT win in the process.
Bradenton, Florida. Jake Scott had a career day yesterday at Bardenton Country Club firing a (-10) 61 and matching the course record held by Sean Jacklin. Scott made 11 birdies to just 1 bogey en route to his first West Florida Golf Tour victory. The Donald Ross design didn't dissapoint, as players raved about course conditions.
Palmetto, Florida. Omar Morales torched The Moc Monday morning to the tune of seven birdies and one eagle in-route to a (-8) 64 and a two shot victory over Beau Brault and Christian DiMarco.
