Bradenton, Florida. Tara Golf & Country will host the Q-School Prep Series 1 event on August 10th, 11th & 12tth. This will be the first of four events scattered throughout late summer and early fall and will give players three day cut events to prepare for all stages of Q-School.
Dade City, Florida. Amateur Ryan Nicoll finally broke through Thursday afternoon at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. The Spring Hill resident and WFGT Member lead wire to wire to claim his first win on a Professional Developmental Tour.
Sarasota, Florida. Adam Alvarez finished the day with a (-5) 66 at Heritage Oaks Country Club and a playoff win over Domenico Geminiani. His par on the first playoff hole was good enough for his second win this year on the WFGT.
Sarasota, Florida. Hunter Howell birdied the final hole of the day to break away from the three way tie at (-4). Howell's (-5) 67 was one better than Korn Ferry Tour Member Davis Shore and Sarasota resident Kyle Rodes.
Bradenton, Florida. Lakeland's Adam Alvarez won for the second time on the West Florida Golf Tour Monday at Heritage Harbour. The Florida Southern Alum was one shot better than Clay Amlung.
Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Connor Schmidt (-5) held off Noah Kumar (-4), Ricky Palonis (-4) and Trey Lewis (-3) down the stretch Monday afternoon at Esplanade at Azario and recorded his first WFGT win in the process.
