WEST FLORIDA GOLF TOUR MAJOR SERIES

The WFGT Major Series is made up of 5 walking events that run during the Winter Tour schedule (October – April). 4 of the 5 events are in the Sarasota, FL area with Brooksville, FL hosting the other at World Woods. With the exception of the Bobby Jones Open, they are all 4-day events with a cut making them the perfect events to get ready for the grind of week long Q-Schools. The purses vary depending on the field size and entry fee, but have been as high as $60,000 at the Longboat Key Open.
