On a beautiful, sunny day at Lake Jovita Country Club, Jon Mansfield posted a -6 (66) with zero bogeys on his card. His near flawless round was just enough to hold off both Sean Jacklin and Brian Richey who played great, but came a little short with (-4) 68's. The South course proved to be a challenge even when weather conditions were perfect, but Mansfield finished with three birdies on the final five holes to take the title.
Jacob Fleck won the Amateur division with a strong (+4) 76 to win by three strokes. |
